Healthy Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

When it comes to iconic pairs, what goes together better than peanut butter and chocolate? (don’t worry, we’ll wait). So with hot chocolate season officially upon us, we’ve got a recipe for a delicious healthy peanut butter hot chocolate that will satisfy your sweet cravings, no matter when they strike! 


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unsweetened Cacao Powder or unsweetened cocoa powder 

  • 1 cup of milk of your choice (almond, cashew, oat, soy, full cream)

  • 1 tsp sweetener (honey, maple syrup, agave, rice malt syrup, coconut sugar, stevia) 

  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter 

  • Dark chocolate (optional) 


Method 

1. Heat milk of choice in a saucepan over a medium heat until warm, then add cacao or cocoa powder, sweetener, peanut butter and chocolate and stir until combined 

2. Serve in a mug and top with grated chocolate
