7 Apples (chopped into cubes)
1 Cup of Almond Meal
⅔ Cup of Desiccated Coconut
½ Cup of Oats
2 Tbsp Cinnamon
1 Tbsp Nutmeg
2 Tbsp Firmly Packed Brown Sugar (or coconut sugar)
2 Tbsp Butter or Nuttelex (softened in the microwave)
1 Tbsp Vanilla Essence
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees C (or 180 fan forced)
Peel and chop apples into cubes. Place apples in a saucepan with 1-2 cups of water (until apples are just covered) and boil for 5 minutes
In a separate bowl, combine almond meal coconut, oats, cinnamon and nutmeg and stir until combined.
In a separate bowl combine butter and vanilla essence
Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until combined
On a large baking tray, lay out the drained apple. Top with the crumble mixture and bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown
