Frequently Asked Questions

Can I try Goodlife for free?

Yes, we offer a free introductory pass which includes access to all gym equipment and classes. The free pass must be redeemed in-club within 7 days, and access is only allowed during club staffed hours. Terms and conditions apply.

What sort of memberships does Goodlife offer?

We offer a range of affordable and flexible memberships. Visit our Memberships page for up-to-date information or visit us in-club.

Do I have to be a member to train at Goodlife?

Even if you’re not a member you can still train at any Goodlife location during staffed hours for just $30 for 2 days.

What is the admin fee?

Our startup fee is $99 for all clubs. This covers the cost of setting up the membership and direct debit with our third-party billing provider.

Is there an age limit to join Goodlife?

Minors (anyone under the age of 18) must have signed consent from their parent/legal guardian and memberships must be purchased in club. If the minor is aged 13 or under they must have their membership approved in writing by one of the following staff members; GM Operations, GM Fitness, or the National Safety Manager. There are different club access requirements depending on the minor's age, 13yrs and under must access during staff hours only and be accompanied by an exercise professional; for full details please refer to our Age Policy in our terms and conditions which you can access in our footer below.

Who should I speak to if I have a question about my membership?

Please speak with your club by visiting your home club page for contact information or call 1300 393 733 and enter your home club postcode.

Can memberships be put on hold?

Platinum and Black Label members are entitled to one complimentary suspension per year, otherwise a $5 fee applies. You may suspend your membership for a minimum of 2 weeks at a time and cannot exceed 4 weeks per year. A suspension form must be completed in club at least 10 days prior to when you want the suspension to commence.

How do I cancel my membership?

Please speak with your home club in person or online - contact details can be found via the Find a Club link - or call 1300 393 733 and enter your home club postcode.

Can I transfer my membership to a friend?

Yes. Depending on your membership type you may transfer your membership to a family member or friend as long as they are not an active member for $99. Platinum and Black Label members can transfer their membership for free.

Does Goodlife offer class only memberships?

Our memberships allow you to access equipment and unlimited classes so there's no need for a class only membership. Check out all our class options through Find a Class!

Can I change my home gym?

Yes. You'll need to contact your home club to kick this process off, either in person or over the phone. Call 1300 393 733 and enter your home club postcode to speak with your club.

Which clubs have child minding?

Many Goodlife Health Clubs have child minding facilities for children from 8 weeks to 12 years old; members must pay a small fee to use the service. Visit your club page to check if child minding is offered or contact your club for more information.
