We rely on the Government to provide detail on how the COVID Safety Industry Plan affects the fitness sector. Often after government announcements, there will be a delay while we wait for more detail of how it affects fitness industry before we can communicate to our members; we appreciate your patience.
The safety of our members and staff is always our priority. We have put an extensive range of protective measures in place including;
Cleaners conduct a deep clean prior to reopening
Mandatory staff training in COVID-19 protocols
Minimum of 1.5 metres between each member in-club
Assisting health authorities with contact tracing
Increased cleaning and sanitation (2x commercial cleans per day)
Equipment to be sanitised between uses
No shared equipment during classes
Thorough cleaning of all equipment by staff
Hygiene stations with hand sanitiser and sanitising gym wipes
Ensuring members bring a towel and water bottle - no towel no train policy

No, if you're not ready to commit to a longer term membership you can purchase a casual membership instead anywhere from 1 day up to 8 weeks.
Casual memberships are available to use during staffed hours only and include group fitness, weights and cardio. You can also select the Arena casual membership, which includes use of Arena Fitness.
Your club will have you complete a health waiver and pre screening questionnaire and provide a key tag so you can start training.

If you're visiting the club for a group fitness class, you must book in advance. We can only allow a certain number of members to train at one time.
When entering the club, please have your membership tag / 24.7 swipe card or kubofit app ready so reception can check you in, this assists us with contact tracing.
Please adhere to the 1.5m distance between people in club and make use of the floor markers which are designed to assist you.
You must bring a towel to train - we have a no towel no train policy
Bring your water bottle
Please bring a mat for floor training, particularly pilates and yoga
You will need to bring your own gloves and wraps for Arena classes
Our startup fee is $99 for all clubs. This covers the cost of setting up the membership and direct debit with our third-party billing provider.
We've had to make changes to our class timetables to adhere to government requirements and enable more time for cleaning between classes. Group classes now require bookings, and before booking for the first time you must register and with our new booking system.
The timetable on our website is still updated, however you may find it easier to view the timetable in the booking platform where you can see and book classes. Arena Fitness classes must also be booked via the new booking system.
If you haven't used our booking system before, you must first register and verify your account. If you don't receive a verification email we may need to update your details in our system - please contact your home club
To find the booking platform for your club, visit the club page and you will find it on the right-hand panel.
Classes can be booked up to 7 days in advance. Cancellations can be made up to one hour before the class starts.
Maximum of two classes per day, per member. Only paying members can book classes.
If the class you wish to attend is full, you can select to go on the waitlist. While we work to update the booking system, you will need to manually check within the hour before the class to see whether you have got a space in the class.
To ensure you are marked in attendance please check-in at reception. If you have classes booked back-to-back, don't forget to revisit reception to check-in for your next class.
If repeated non-attendance occurs you will be charged a fee.
To cancel, select the booking you wish to cancel in the booking platform and select remove - you'll find this at the bottom of the class description.
Blue memberships, unlike Black and Platinum memberships, don't include complimentary quarterly coaching, and this fee is payable 4x annually for a 30-45 minute appointment with a Goodlife Fitness Professional.
Quarterly Coaching is a training review of what training has been effective and what hasn’t; followed by some on-the-gym-floor movement coaching to ensure the member exercises in the safest (injury avoiding) and effective (result proven) ways relative to their goals.
Every appointment must be booked within 14-days of the quarterly-anniversary, please contact your club to book your quarterly coaching in.

If your club is closed due to government restrictions your membership will be on time freeze, please contact your club when they reopen.
Depending on your membership type you may transfer your membership to a family member or friend as long as they are not an active member for $99. Platinum and Black Label members can transfer their membership for free.
You can also put your membership on hold, some memberships include complimentary suspensions. Terms and conditions apply.
Platinum and Black Label members are entitled to one complimentary suspension per year, otherwise a $5 fee applies. You may suspend your membership for a minimum of 2 weeks at a time and cannot exceed 4 weeks per year. A suspension form must be completed in club at least 10 days prior to when you want the suspension to commence.

If your club needs to temporarily close due to government restrictions in your area, we will freeze membership payments until the club reopens. When payments resume these will continue on the same cycle as prior to closure.
If you aren't ready to return to your club when it reopens, you can request a further time freeze. Please contact Debit Success on 1800 812 461 or email [email protected]
Any membership payments made between 4 and 7 July for Melbourne club members (excluding Geelong) will be in credit when clubs reopen.
If you joined at a club that has temporarily closed, but have since moved and your membership has been automatically place on freeze, you can contact Debit Success on the details above to reactivate your membership.
If you believe you've been overcharged please let us know, however please check first it's not related to overdue fees, or pro-rata payments before reaching out to our customer service team. Please complete our Contact Us form if you have any questions or concerns or speak to reception at your club.
If you have paid upfront for your membership and your club has closed, your membership end date will be extended for the period the club was closed.
If your club has closed, your membership end date will extend. For example if you had 20 weekly payments remaining when the club closed, you will still have 20 weekly payments to make when it reopens before your contract ends.

You can link your membership in the Kubofit app by going to the settings or profile section (cog icon on the bottom right of the app), and tapping on KuboPass and following the steps in the app.
The first time you use Kubofit will be asked to enter your First, Last Name, Email Address, Mobile Number and Date of Birth that you signed up for your membership with, if you are unsure check your contract or ask at reception of your home club. *Important: these details need to be exactly matched in our database (including letter capitalisation). Otherwise a “Membership not found” error will be displayed.
If the details on file at your health club need to be updated please update these with reception of your home club. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address on file with your health club that will contain an activation link that will need to be clicked to confirm your membership.
During staffed hours, you can access the club by opening KuboPass on your KuboFit app, and scanning the barcode on the screen as you would with your physical pass. Outside of business hours (24/7), you can access the club by opening Kubofit Pass and tapping on the “After hours access” button and bringing the device close to the Kubofit Pass base. Note you need to have location enabled on your device in order for the button to be activated and 24/7 access enabled.

Many Goodlife Health Clubs have child minding facilities for children from 8 weeks to 12 years old; members must pay a small fee to use the service. Visit your club page to check if child minding is offered or contact your club for more information.

Minors (anyone under the age of 18) must have signed consent from their parent/legal guardian and memberships must be purchased in club. If the minor is aged 13 or under they must have their membership approved in writing.
There are different club access requirements depending on the minor's age, 13yrs and under must access during staff hours only and be accompanied by an exercise professional; for full details please refer to our Age Policy in our terms and conditions.
