What did your Group Fitness experience look like in 2021?

Did you fall in love with a new class, lift a little heavier in Body Pump, jump a little higher in Body Attack, or even feel a little more coordinated in Body Step?

However you joined us, it was uniquely you, and uniquely 2021.


Welcome to Wrapped: Your Group Fitness of ’21

In a world that continues to keep us on our toes, you still managed to lace up your sneakers and join us in the gym as often as you could.

In fact, you joined us at the gym more than 11.7 million times over the last year!

Tuesdays at 5 pm we saw you the most and Sundays at 2 am we often didn’t see you at all.

Now 11.7 million might not be a personal best (given a few pesky lockdowns), but it’s a solid effort you should be proud of – we sure are!

But there was one class that lived in your head rent-free all year long

Your top class of the year (if you didn’t guess it already) is the original and the best barbell class that sculpts and tones your entire body, the one and only, Body Pump!

You participated a very reasonable 400,000 times. As is your right.

That’s a lot of squats if you ask us, we quick-math that out to about 80,000,000 squats – ouch!

But that wasn’t the only class in your rotation…

The sweat-inducing, heart-pumping, pedal to the metal class, RPM came in at number two.

While strapped in and gears cranked, you clocked over 192,000 RPM classes with us.

Hop, skip, and a jump to number three

Followed closely behind RPM, you tuck-jumped your way through Body Attack over 150,995 times.

That’s a whole lot of jump jacks, jump lunges, and your favourite word… burpees.

This year was anything but normal but did help us realise we need balance in our lives

It’s not a surprise you downward-dogged your way through Yoga 130,400 times and practiced your Sun Salutation in Body Balance 113,957 times.

After a wild ride of a year, you needed that flexibility and calm in your life, we all did.

You always understood the assignment

We don’t need to tell you twice that we're better together since over 2 million you joined us for a class or two this year.

And when you couldn’t join us physically, you were right there with us At Home.

It’s been great working out with you this year

We can’t wait to see what Group Fitness Classes make your top five next year.
