Jayden Lien

Growing up with asthma, eczema, and multiple food allergies, Jayden struggled with chronic malnourishment and low body weight. As he got older, his weight fluctuated dramatically, eventually leading to periods of being overweight and feeling insecure about his appearance. At age 11, he began kickboxing to improve his fitness, but an unhealthy diet full of fast food and processed sugar made progress difficult.

Over time, with kickboxing and a gym membership, he lost more than 20 kg—dropping from 95 kg to 75 kg—and learned that fat loss isn’t defined solely by the number on the scale, but by how one feels and looks. Motivated by his own journey, he experimented with various training and nutrition approaches, continually seeking to expand his knowledge. This drive led him to pursue qualifications through AIPT, where he earned his Certificate III and IV in Fitness. He is now a qualified personal trainer working at Goodlife Health Clubs in Joondalup, as well as an online coach.

With over eight years of kickboxing experience since starting in 2017, he has competed regularly at local, state, and national levels, winning a national title in 2023. He also works as a martial arts instructor, teaching kids ages as young as 3 to adults over the age of 70. Whether on the gym floor or online, he welcomes anyone seeking advice, guidance, or even just a friendly chat.
