Do I have to turn on location services to use KuboFit?

Yes. KuboFit uses location services to find and recommend classes that are close to you. If you switch off location services you will no longer be able to find classes in your area.

Do I have to allow notifications to use KuboFit?

No, but KuboFit will be able to help you meet your fitness goals better if you do allow notifications. We use notifications to remind you about upcoming classes, keep you up to date with your weekly goals, deliver class performance updates and much more.

Do I have to allow KuboFit to access my iOS calendar?

No, it does not affect the usability of the App. But connecting KuboCalendar with iCal means you’ll never miss a class.

How do I sync my KuboCalendar with my iOS Calendar?

When you’ve chosen your first class, add it to your KuboCalendar and follow the prompts to allow KuboFit to access your iCal. If you have already seen and dismissed this request: Go to SETTINGS – scroll down and select KuboFIt from the list of installed Apps – tap the switch next to Calendars to allow access.

How do I sync my KuboCalendar with my Google Calendar?

This is not an option at this time but we plan on adding this capability in the near future.

How do I sync my KuboCalendar with my Outlook Calendar?

Why can’t I see any classes on the For You tab?

This could be because there aren’t any clubs within 10kms of your current location. To find your nearest club go to the Search tab and click the Clubs tab at the top of the screen.

Why can’t I see any classes on the Search tab?

There are a couple of reasons why this could be happening. It could be because there are no more classes on today so you should check another day by selecting the day from the day/date selector at the top of the screen. If there’s still no classes showing on any other day it means there aren’t any classes that match your search within 10kms of your location. To find your nearest club go to the Search tab and click the Clubs tab at the top of the screen.

Why is the app saying I have no network connection?

This could be because your phone isn’t connected to the internet. Check that your phone is connected to the internet and try again.

Can I sync my FitBit data with KuboFit?

To connect your Fitbit to KuboFit via Apple Heath you can download an app from the AppStore called myFitnessSync for Fitbit. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/myfitnesssync-for-fitbit-sync/id1134998522  Once downloaded follow the steps to allow Apple Health to access your Fitbit data. Once KuboFit sees this data populating your Health app, KuboFit will be able to use this data to see how you're tracking against your fitness goals in the Activity tab.

How can I deactivate my KuboFit account?

To deactivate and remove your KuboFit account from our member database contact us at [email protected] and we'll assist in removing your account.

When I schedule a class using KuboFit, does my chosen club receive a notification that I will be attending?

At this time, KuboFit cannot notify your club that you will be attending so you should still arrive with enough time to get set up for your class. Allow extra time if it is your first time and you may need to sign a waiver. KuboFit’s scheduling capability is designed to ensure you schedule your classes for the week and don’t forget or miss out on any of them. This will ensure you can stick to your routine and never forget to bring what you need.
